This diet came about when people needed to lose weight quickly for the military. I have a lot of friends who have done this diet right before a vacation, or a wedding. It really does work, it’s tough, but the results are fast! I live in an area with a lot of young moms. And when we find something that can help get rid of that baby weight quickly and feel like our normal self again. We jump all over it!
The Military Diet is a very basic diet that is very inexpensive, and opposed to other diets, it doesn’t just tell you ” Eat everything BUT …..”, the Military Diet tells you exactly what you DO need to eat.
Here’s the diet for anyone who would like to try it:
Breakfast–1/2 Grapefruit, 1 Slice of Toast, 2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter, and Coffee or Tea.
Lunch–1/2 Cup of Tuna, 1 Slice of Toast, and Coffee or Tea (any brew, as long as it’s caffeinated)
Dinner–3 ounces of any type of meat, 1 Cup of Green Beans, 1/2 Banana, 1 Small Apple, and 1 Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream (YUM)!!!
Breakfast–1 egg, 1 Slice of Toast, and 1/2 Banana
Lunch–1 Cup of Cottage Cheese (Or 1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese), 1 Hard Boiled Egg, and 5 Saltine Crackers.
Dinner–2 Hot Dogs, (no buns), 1 Cup of Broccoli, 1/2 Cup of Carrots, 1/2 Banana, and 1/2 Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream.
Breakfast–5 Saltine Crackers, 1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese, and 1 Small Apple.
Lunch-1 Hard-Boiled Egg, and 1 Slice of Toast.
Dinner–1 Cup of Tuna, 1/2 of a Banana, and 1 Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream.
OK, this is the diet. I just want to let everyone know that if you do this diet it is at your own risk. I really don’t want people asking me questions about substitutions, and things that they’d need to ask a doctor about. This isn’t for everyone. But if you are going on vacation, and want to look better this might be good for you.
